A Classic German Sausage Turned American Favorite

Description

This traditional German Bratwurst sausage is made with a mixture of premium-quality trimmed pork shoulders (picnics) and a traditional spice blend to create an old-world, German Bratwurst recipe. The Brats are best served all by themselves, grilled and served with German mustard, sauerkraut, and a piece of toasted rye bread or a roll. It can also be sliced and made into Currywurst by slathering it in a traditional catsup-curry sauce.

Each 5lb. order is approximately 20 links. Each link is approximately 4oz and 5-in in length.

These sausages are uncooked and must be cooked thoroughly to a minimum internal temperature of 160 deg. F prior to consumption.

Shelf Life

When stored frozen, all products have a 180-day shelf-life from the date it was produced. The date it was produced is printed on an orange label on the packaging. Freeze product immediately upon receipt and keep until 180 days (6 months) past the date printed on the packaging, or refrigerate product immediately upon receipt and use within 3-4 days.
