Andouille Sausage is a fully cooked, spicy, heavily smoked Cajun sausage made from fresh, premium-quality trimmed pork shoulders and a traditional spice blend. It is a common ingredient in Cajun cooking and is traditionally used in Cajun specialties such as Jambalaya and Gumbo. It's also great on the smoker and as a spicy addition to any recipe that calls for a smoked sausage including pastas, mac & cheese, soups, and more.
Each 5lb. order is approximately 15 links. Each link is approximately 5.3oz and 7-in in length.
These sausages are fully cooked, but we still recommend cooking them to a minimum internal temperature of 160 deg. F prior to consumption as is generally recommended for both safety and flavor.
